Start a message with / to open Cotool’s slash command menu. Slash commands are the fastest way to switch chat into a guided workflow without leaving the composer.

What slash commands do

Cotool uses slash commands in two ways:
  • Guided workflows start a chat that is optimized for one job, such as creating an agent or ingesting a threat report into Hunt.
  • In-place actions operate on the current conversation, such as compacting it so you can keep going with a shorter context window.

How to use them

Start with /

In Chat, begin a message with / to open the command menu. Keep typing to filter the list.

Choose the workflow

Select the command that matches what you want to do.

Provide any extra context

Some commands ask for one more choice before you continue:
  • /create-detection asks you to choose a connected platform.
  • /update-agent and /update-skill can show a picker of matching items, or you can skip the picker and describe the target in chat.

Finish in chat

Continue the guided conversation, attach files if needed, and let Cotool drive the workflow from there.

Tips

  • Commands that require permissions can appear disabled until you have the right access.
  • /create-detection is most useful after you have connected the destination platform you want to write into.
  • /hunt-intel works with report URLs, pasted text, and chat attachments such as PDFs and Office documents.
  • /compact stays in the current chat instead of opening a new one.
